I have always wondered why there is no text that talks about whether you SHOULD get back with your ex! Why did you leave in the first place? Has that problem been solved? Why go back into the misery if it’s just to have someone.

Cheating is heartbreaking, and difficult to overcome, especially if it has happened more then once. The is great if you just have “differences” – but regaining trust is a whole different story.

I’m not exactly sure it’s a good idea to get back with an “ex”. It seems to me that they are an “ex” for a reason. Something they did, something you did, something they need to work on or something you need to work on. They were in your life for a reason, possibly to show you something and now it’s time to move onto the next adventure.
If you’re going to get back with an “ex”, I think you should at least wait until you have had some time to reflect on what caused the relationship to go to “ex” status.

I have been via this type of scenario prior to. And in fact you are right. Couples in a rocky partnership, each wait for the other to make the very first move in patching up their variations. I am so happy to inform you that my boy friend and I got back together on Sunday. I don’t think that things would have worked out the way they did if I hadn’t done the leave my man alone spell. I met this really cool guy and we started dating, but then I found out he had another girl. He confessed and said he was sorry. He also says he wants to build a home with me and that he loves me, but the problem i was having then is that he has a child with this other girl. i was now confused because it feels like I’m intruding in their lives. Mine is a difficult situation, at best. In serious, deep love with a man who is married and I am married as well. Both of us in unhappy marriages, found each other by accident, but the attraction was so intense, so deep, it developed into love. As he has so much more to loose than me, being a woman, the obstacles were too great for him to jump over, so we both decided it was best to stop our relationship before it became a mess.
